Just a few more days

until they come home!!!!! I might be a bit excited. ;) I MIGHT have woke up at 4am so I could set up the rest of Abby's room and get Kyle's room almost finished....yeah, I might have done that! Thank God Stephen is a deep sleeper! He woke up for about 30 seconds and was sound asleep shortly after that. =)  SO - I took pictures! Keep in mind the room is only set up! It's not decorated! These were taken on my phone too - so please bear with me as they are a bit blurry....

Abby's bed =) If you are standing in the kitchen/hall outside of her room, this is what you see first.

Her walk-in closet and SOME of her toys. (Yes, a 5 yr old has her own walk-in closet. ;)

Her desk, lamp, & dresser. Let me tell you I looooove her lamp! It's one of those torchiere lamps with multiple heads you can point in any direction. Abby's has pink, purple, green, and white. It's so cute! Her dresser is right next to the doorway from the first picture.

At the end of the same hallway as Abby, is Kyle's room. The dresser is right next to his door, and look! Another walk-in closet!!!!! =) He also has a multi-head torchiere lamp. However, I was a good girl and made his colors white, blue, and orange. I'll let you guess what team he likes the best based upon those colors. ;)

As with all things, there is a story. These bunkbeds are amazing! Mr. Langenmayr (THE Mr. Langenmayr of our family - aka Jim) made these for his sons. I'm told all 3 boys had the opportunity to beat up these bunk beds. Stephen inherited them and Kyle has used them for sometime. The beds are just as sturdy today as the day they were made. As you can see, I still have to make the top bed. =/

The empty corner will be filled with Kyle's desk. He LOVES his desk! I've never seen a boy that loves to write and illustrate as much as he does! In the months before the wedding, he wrote several starts and several whole stories complete with illustrations.

Are they home yet? Stephen and I are so ready for them to come home. Don't get me wrong, this past month has been absolutely heavenly. The chance to get Stephen to myself for a whole month is priceless! I thank God we had that opportunity because adjusting to married life (for me) is a big deal. Yes, there will also be an adjustment when the kids come home. However, because I have had the chance to adjust to being married first - the adjustment to kids should be easier. How about now? Are they home now? Do we reallly have to wait until this weekend/Monday? =/

6 more days

Have you ever noticed how when you want something to happen, time CRAWLS by? But when you don't necessarily want something to happen (aka the alarm going off this morning) time flies by! Why is that? Some people think I'm ridiculous because basically I'm saying, "I want my life to be 3 times more crazy!" when I say I want the kids home. Yes, it will get more crazy because there will be four in the house instead of the current two.

My stomach is rockin this morning..... ugh! Cuban food doesn't agree with me...

Anyways, August 1st!!!! Stephen and I started setting up the kids rooms. Decorations won't be up but everything will be in there and their toys will be set up. I'll post pictures once we finish up the rooms. The kids are going to LOVE having their own rooms again!

School starts on August 1st for me (time is flying for that) and the students come on August 8th (that seems to be taking longer.) I have four days to set up my room. Next week the workdays will be used to put decorations (not many) up and make sure I have all of the books, papers, desks, and supplies ready to go! Decorations I'm keeping to a minimum because they take a lot of time to  put up and down. We won't have white walls, but I'm a believer  in letting the students' work decorate the walls. They loooooove having family members come in and then showing off their work on the walls. =) Lots of love to you all! I am going to throw my hair in a ponytail, get some coffee, and head off to work!

I confess =/

I cheated....it's true. I feels so terrible! I didn't mean to! I was driving along, looked, and was completely drawn in.....to this new coffee shop! HAha! yeah, it's true. I like the atmosphere, but the current brew is leaving something to be desired. We shall see - my guess is Cattle Dog will continue to rule as the greatest local coffee shop in Citrus County.

Let's see...since I last talked with you, the reception has come and gone, the gun show has come and gone, Andy's birthday has come and gone. Do you see how much is going on? Kyle and Abby get back in 11 days!!!! It was too cute! The other day, we had them on speaker phone and Kaden was in the room. He heard the kids on the phone and ran over trying to figure out how he could hear them and not see them in the room. It was adorable!

But any-hoot, I have absolutely got to hand it to my mom-in-law! She got two of her friends (along with moral support, basic ideas, and errand running from me - my AMAZING sister in law helping put together party favors and give advice) to help her pull of the whole shin-dig. Connie used decorations that were from our wedding and made everything look simple-classic, which is perfect! I met almost all of my father in law's family. One brother was unable to make it, but as far as I know everyone else made it! Can I tell you they are awesome? Yep! No...I'm not just saying it because they might read this. I'm....blunt/straightforward enough to tell you if it wasn't true. =) Connie's family was there (LOOOOve them too! Met most of them throughout the week before the reception) and I even met some super close family friends too. It was a whirlwind event! I can't believe it's over. We literally started thinking/planning in April, and here we are in July with it over. CRAZY!

Andy's birthday went well too! He's just a youngun....only 34 years old. Me being the ever sweet sister-in-law that I am reminded him he has past the halfway mark to being half a century old! ...yeah, he loves me! haha! We all had fun celebrating with him and then peaced out to catch up on some much needed shut eye.

In eleven days, our babies come home! We need to have our garage sale, set up their rooms, clean out more boxes, and begin prep for another school year! I get to stay with third grade, which is awesome because this will be my full 2nd year in that grade. I'm sure there will be plenty of adventures and quotes to share with you throughout the school year. Just to give you a taste, one student was trying to recall what he/she had just read but was struggling. His/Her comment?

If there was only just ONE brain cell in my head to help me remember what I just read!

2 and a half weeks

That's all the more time we have until work begins down here. I have mixed feelings about it. Am I ready to get back to structure and the routines of work....YES! However, my mix comes with my kids get back on August 1st from their momma's. More than anything, I would love it if the four of us could spend those first few days together as family going down the river, going to the park, visiting the pool - those kinds of things. As it stands the kids come back the same day as my first day of work. They will most likely  go to daycare every day. Boo!  But maybe God did this so that they  will have time to transition back to being home with us and having time with their friends in daycare. Believe it or not they both seem to enjoy going to daycare! =) I'm going to try and upload of few photos from the wedding for ya'll. Until I get a faster internet connection (ok, internet period. We both firmly agreed on not getting internet at the house until we know how long we will be in Crystal River, or until we have transferred.) I will put the majority of the photos on facebook.

Me & my Beautiful Momma getting ready! (Yes, I was professionally prepared or it would have been bad! Mom looks great no matter what!)

This is a family picture we had done....yeah, we girls pretty much kick those guys around! Look at those muscles! ;)

Back to wedding! Abby and I decided to kill time we would practice our twirls!

Our photographer was AWESOME! Bill Baldwin - he & his wife did a FANTASTIC job! They also are very economically priced and you should use them if you have a wedding that needs covered!

Me & my son! Look how dashingly handsome he is! =)

Me & my girls! I have to admit, Sam (our fabulous hairdress at Trendsetters in Indianapolis) did a FABULOUS job! When I spoke to her about doing our hair, all I told her was making the girls look good. Yep! She did!

My parents! So excited to hand me off to Stephen! Lol ;) They both look so great!

I might be a Daddy's girl....

....and a Momma's girl too! My parents are pretty much the best!

YAY! We switched from tuxedos to this outfit and I gotta say, he looks good!

And so do all the rest of the men!

Stephen's parents - you can't find better in-laws!

Mr & Mrs Stephen Carl Langenmayr!

The day was perfect, the people were wonderful, it could not have gone better if we tried! Kaden and I are packing up  and leaving the coffee shop now. He loves to come because everyone stops to say hello. ;) Love!

...I was sitting at my rehearsal praying everything would go smoothly at the wedding. It didn't - but it was fun! No one could really tell, I don't think. At least I hope they couldn't!

We went on the perfect honeymoon, as previously mentioned, came back in time to chill out for a weekend at home. It was beautiful! This past week was spent changing my name over in all the various and asundry places.

i.e. Driver's Licence, SS card, Military ID, banks...the list does indeed go on.

Stressful? naaaaahh!!!! I'm married! Annoying....oh yes, definitely annoying. I understand there are rules and regulations to protect us from people trying to play the system. However, it bit me instead of them. 3 days, 10 hours of driving, and 6 hours of wait time later - I got my SS card, DL, and my name changed at my bank, added to Stephen's bank, and got my military spouse ID.

For example, in FL when you get married, you have to have your old SS card, new SS card, marriage license, birth certificate, and 2 pieces of mail to prove residency....difficult when we haven't received a bill at our new address. I went to change my SS, oh wait, it takes 24 hours to change it in the system and 2 weeks to get the card! I drove to Ocala! An hour plus ONE WAY! Being the sweet soul that I am (wink wink) I smiled, said thank you of course I"ll drive back out here tomorrow to get the verifcation of my SS.

Yes, I really did do that! The next day I went out, got my verification and attempted to discover what Stephen & I would need for Kyle & Abby's SS cards. From there I went to get my DL (for the 2nd time.) A super nice lady helped me and I was on my merry way an hour after I got there.

Today we went to St Pete to get me on the military account. That went smoothly! We went to get Kyle & Abby's SS cards while we were so close to an office. NOPE! Did you know that a birth certificate is not considered a valid form of ID for those kids?!?!?! Yep! Craaaazy! So we left pretty frustrated - the lady was mean too! Plus it was rainy and we were freezing. Grumpy? CHECK! Tired? CHECK! Hungry? of couse that's always a CHECK! We ate at Chili's and went home. I was STARVING by the time we got home because my meal wasn't very big.  Ok so a normal person would have been satisfied for hours. But me? Oh, a couple hours later I was ready to eat! Have I mentioned I'm blessed to be married to the absolutely perfect person for me? YEP! He had this idea rolling around in his head to make a fantastic meal! As soon as he shows me how to hook the camera up to the computer I will share ingredients and pictures. But let me tell you - a heaping plate full and I was ready to go back for more! Not because I was hungry, but because it was SOOOOOOOOOOO yummy!

Wedding Bells Have Rung

Well, I survived the wedding! ...yes, Stephen did too. ;) It could not have gone more perfect if we worked at it for a year! We got to the hair dresser in perfect time. My girls looked AMAZING!!!! You know those wedding you've been to wear the bridesmaids wore dresses that didn't flatter and had hair that was...well, less than attractive. I can honestly say I had nothing to do with how my girls looked and they looked FAAAAABULOUS! Sam did an absolutely FANTASTIC job! I highly recommend using her!

Stephen and guys looked so darn good too! ;)

Our honeymoon was absolutely perfect! We stayed in a cabin in the Smokies. Literally you opened the front door and all you could see was the mountains! Every day was filled with hiking, white water rafting, and hiking some more! We were pooped each night but the outdoors were too beautiful to not enjoy. =) On the way home we stopped at the TN Aquarium and enjoyed seeing everything there. There were some beautiful fish! Stephen is huge into fishing and was teaching me about all the different types of fish.

Sorry to cut this short - but I have a sick puppy that is getting into trouble right now. =/ Pray for little Kaden!
